From digital projects to Bollywood movies, Esha Deol Takhtani is exploring it all as she makes a comeback to showbiz. Interestingly, this time around she I also exploring the technical side of the entertainment world as she turns producer with partner and husband Bharat Takhtani.
Just like she is excited for her second innings in movies, Esha says that her friends from the industry are celebrating her comeback too. She says, “All my friends are very-very happy. From Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan to Tusshar Kapoor everybody wished me luck and told me that they are so happy to see me back at work. They all have been very supportive and welcomed me with arms wide open.”
With Ajay she featured in films like LOC Kargil, Yuva, Main Aisa Hi Hoon among others, with Abhishek Bachchan she starred in Dus and with Tusshar in Kyaa Dil Ne Kahaa, Kucch To Hai among others.
Through her decade long break, the actress says she had work coming her way. Though she liked some of the scripts, she was sure to focus upon her family life instead. “To be frank, I was really enjoying the projects that were coming my way. I was highly entertained reading those scripts but I was very sure about my decision,” she says.
About her comeback, in an earlier chat with BT, Esha had said, “As an actor I started off at a young age, but after a while certain maturity sets in. The kind of work I wanted to do is coming my way and so I really felt like stepping out and taking up the good work.”
