New Delhi: A Bollywood actress has lodged a complaint with the Delhi Police, accusing two men of stalking and harassing her on social media, a report stated. Based on the complaint, a case has been registered against the duo at Vasant Kunj (North) police station in the national capital.

As per the case details, one of the accused is a YouTube influencer, while the other is a Twitter user. The film actress, in her complaint to the police, alleged that the two circulated messages on various online platforms with the intention to outrage her modesty. She further alleged that the accused even used some hashtags regarding one of her films, according to a report by The Indian Express.

“She said the messages were published with the intent of outraging her modesty. There are also some hashtags being used online with regard to one of her movies. A criminal case has been registered at Vasant Kunj (North) police station,” the report quoted Gaurav Sharma, DCP (Southwest) as saying.

The two accused have been booked under Sections 354D (stalking) and 509 (insulting modesty of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Section 67 (publishing obscene material in electronic form) of the Information Technology (IT) Act. The case is being investigated by the police.

Meanwhile, in the Cordelia cruise drugs party raid case, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested a Nigerian national from suburban Goregaon in Mumbai. With this, 20 people, including Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan and another Nigerian national, have so far been arrested by the federal anti-narcotics agency in connection with the case. On Friday, a metropolitan magistrate's court had rejected the bail applications of Aryan Khan and two other accused on grounds on maintainability.
