Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, was arrested by Narcotics Control Bureau officials in a drug-related case on October 3. His bail plea is to be heard by the court later today. But before the hearing, NCB submitted a Whatsapp chat to the court wherein it claims that Aryan Khan discussed drugs with an upcoming Bollywood actress. But who is this Bollywood actress?
The NCB has not revealed the name of the upcoming Bollywood actress whose name popped up in Aryan Khan’s phone allegedly discussing drugs. However, there are quite a number of aspiring actresses all set to make their debut in Bollywood soon. Some actresses making their debut soon are also star kids much like Aryan Khan himself, whereas, others who are outsiders making their way to the silver screen soon. And while the name has not yet been revealed, it might just pop up if the court finds any ground in it for the upcoming actress’ arrest.
Earlier, before the news of Aryan Khan’s detainment was made, news agencies reported that a superstar’s son was arrested. It was only later revealed that it was Shah Rukh Khan’s son who had been detained by NCB officials following a drug bust. However, upon his detainment, he was not found in possession of any drugs.
About the Aryan Khan case
Reports state that a rave party was taking place in the late hours of October 3 on a cruise ship that was raided at the Mumbai Coast. The cruise was on its way on a “musical voyage” for three days. Several names from Bollywood – including Aryan Khan – were also aboard the cruise, along with people from the fashion and business industry. The NCB received an anonymous tip of banned drugs being used on the cruise. NCB officials, led by zonal director Sameer Wankhede, boarded the ship disguised as passengers to conduct the raid.
Following the raid, Aryan Khan and eight others were detained. The star kid’s phone was seized. Reports claimed that the chats recovered indicated that he had been “regularly ordering and consuming” drugs. He was also taken for a medical test, however, reports of the same have not been published or shared with the public yet. He was later arrested under sections 8C, 20B, 27 and 35 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
