Here Are 7 Iconic Sunny Deol Dialogues We Have Mimicked At Some Point

Even though we don't get to see much of Sunny Deol these days, his work in Indian Cinema has been etched in our hearts. 

Referred to as Bollywood's 'angry action man', Sunny carved a niche for himself in the action-drama arena back in the days and left no stone unturned with his acting skills.

Although he is often shown with a tetchy disposition on-screen, it's his naive nature that melts our hearts. 

Apart from his glorious career in Bollywood, even his dialogues are evergreen, not just in the industry but even we have used them at some point in our lives. 

As today marks 20 years of Gadar, let's take a look at these 8 iconic dialogues of Sunny from various movies:

1. Damini

Sunny had some hard-hitting dialogues in Damini but the two that stood out were, "Yeh dhai kilo ka haath jab kisipe padtha hai na, toh aadmi uth-ta nahi uthh jaata hai." Uff, we can feel the weight. 

The dialogue became more popular than the movie.

And, then,"Tareekh pe tareekh, tareekh pe tareekh, tareekh pe tareekh milti gayi My Lord, Per insaaf nahi mila!". Talk about iconic, right?

2. Gadar: Ek Prem Katha

Gadar reflected Sunny's patriotic side and proved that he is made for such movies. 

The dialogue that made waves was, "Agar aapka Pakistan zindabad hai toh isme humein koi aitraaz nahi lekin hamara Hindustan zindabad tha, zindabad hai aur zindabad rahega.”

3. Yamla Pagla Deewana

One of Sunny's funniest movies, Yamla Pagla Deewana also had some rib-tickling dialogues. "Jatt risky after balti bhar whiskey".

I mean lame, but cute!  

4. Jeet

Jeet is an action thriller movie in which Sunny starred opposite Karisma Kapoor and Salman Khan. 

While the movie garnered positive reviews, we actually became a huge fan of Sunny's dialogue, "Patharon ki is duniya mein devta banna toh bahut aasaan hai Insaan banna bahut mushkil." Itna gussa!

5. Ghatak

Ghatak was Sunny's well-acclaimed movie in which he delivered some deadly dialogues. 

"Yeh mazdoor ka haath hai, loha pighlakar uska aakar badal deta hai." 

Reminds us of Rajinikanth.

6. Ghayal

"Utaar ke phenk do ye wardi aur pehen lo Balwant Rai ke naam ka patta apne gale mein...Balwant Rai ke kutton." No doubt, this one is an unforgettable dialogue. 

It's even hard to imagine someone else saying it. Hmm...
