Bollywood celebs are known to have a huge fan following. We have often heard this phrase that Celebs are nothing without their fans. For it is thanks to their adulations that turn a normal person into a superstar. In our country fans worship their idols but sometimes there are a number of overzealous fans who cross the line and end up leaving their favourite stars either hurt or shaken by the shocking incidents.

Be it Sushmita Sen, Priyanka Chopra, Vidya Balan, Salman Khan or Shah Rukh Khan each one has gone through a harrowing incident with their fans.  Ileana D’Souza had taken to social media to vent her fury after a fan misbehaved with her during Baadshaho promotions. Singer Mika during a concert had called out a man on stage and slapped him for misbehaving with women.

Priyanka Chopra

Global celebrity Priyanka Chopra is known for her no-nonsense attitude. The diva has also faced a tricky situation with an ardent fan. In an interview with TOI PeeCee had revealed how she had once slapped a fan for behaving inappropriately. The incident took place on the sets of ‘Anjaana Anjaani‘ when Priyanka came out of her trailer. A fan came near her, held her arms and started taking pictures. This angered the beauty who grabbed his collar and slapped him hard.

Jacqueline Fernandez

Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez has also gone through such a situation with a fan. She was promoting Judwaa 2, along with Varun Dhawan and Taapsee Pannu. During the trailer launch, 50 pairs of twins were invited for the event with the cast. All of them were promised that they will get time to spend time stars of the film. But one pair of twins started misbehaving with Jacky and crossed the lines of decency. They were soon evicted from the event.

Salman Khan

Salman Khan is loved by his humongous fan following who call themselves Salmaniacs. But the superstar too lost his cool when a fan tried to get too close to him and kiss him. During a promotional event for bodyguard, a fan, in his mid-20s got too excited on seeing Bhai and in turn tried to hug and kiss him. The Dabangg Khan lost his cool and gave the boy a slap.

Sushmita Sen

The actress had once held a teenager by his neck for behaving inappropriately with her. The fifteen year old had tried to misbehave with the actress. He thought he will not be caught for his misbehaviour due to the huge crowd around the actress. But she caught him and gave him a piece of her mind. Finally, the youngster realised his mistake and apologised.

Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan is known for the love he garners from his fans across the world. King Khan was once again mobbed by fans during the promotions of one of his films. Shah Rukh Khan was in Amsterdam when a fan forcibly tried to take a selfie with him. However, when the fan tried to get too close for comfort SRK lost his cool and pushed him back.

Vidya Balan

Vidya Balan had one of the most unpleasant experiences at the Kolkata airport during kahaani promotions. A fan requested a selfie-and when she obliged got too close for her comfort. He tried to put his arm around her—not once but twice, despite the actress asserting that she didn’t want this. When he did the same for the third time the actress told him off for misbehaving.

John Abraham

John Abraham once had to slap a fan after she bit him. The incident took place in Mangalore when John went for the inauguration of a jewellery showroom. The woman who was a fan of the actor got too excited on seeing him. She grabbed his hand and started biting him. In an attempt to save himself, the shocked actor had to slap her for the outrageous behaviour.

As per the latest report in the portal, Saba Azad was “very patient and calm when the publication introduced itself, but the moment they drifted from the introduction and asked her about the viral pictures with Hrithik Roshan, Saba reportedly changed her stance hastily and refused to talk. She was quoted saying, “Sorry, I am in the middle of something. I'll call you back.”

The report added that Saba chose to remain silent. Neither did she accept nor did she deny the rumours of their dating. At no point, did she say ‘No’ when asked if she was with Hrithik?

Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez recently took to her social media, sharing a hilarious reel to celebrate the wrap up of 'Ram Setu'.

In the caption, she wrote, "#ramsetu what an adventure it was!!! Thank you team for the love you’ve poured into this film!!"

Helmed by Abhishek Sharma and produced by Aruna Bhatia and Vikram Malhotra, the film is slated to hit the silver screens on Diwali this year.

Bollywood star Kajol tests positive for Covid-19

MUMBAI - Bollywood star Kajol has revealed on Instagram that she tested positive for Covid-19 on Jan 30.

The actress, 47, did not give many detailsbut added: "I really don't want anyone to see my Rudolph nose."

She shared a picture of her daughter Nysa, 19, instead and wrote, "let's just stick to the sweetest smile in the world".

Fans sent their well wishes as well as compliments about Nysa taking after her famous mother.

Actress Priyanka Chopra left a heart-eyes emoji as well as the comment, "She's stunning".

Chopra, 39, has kept a low profile in recent weeks - only to announce on Jan 21 that she and her American singer-actor husband Nick Jonas have welcomed their first child, a daughter, through surrogacy.

Kajol has been married to fellow Indian film star Ajay Devgn since 1999. The couple also have a son, 11.

The Mumbai-born actress is one of the most successful and beloved stars of Hindi cinema, first bursting onto screens in action drama Bekhudi (1992). She was most recently seen in the Netflix film Tribhanga, released in 2021 in Hindi, English and Tamil.

According to a Reuters report on Jan 30, India has reported 41.09 million Covid-19 cases, as well as 494,091 deaths. The country reported 234,281 daily cases on the same day.

Deepika Padukone needs no introduction because her beauty and versatile acting ability are enough for it. Ever since her debut in Bollywood, Deepika has created a niche for herself and made a place for her in the tinsel town. From Chennai Express to Cocktail to Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Deepika always proved herself as an actor. Well everybody knows that the 36-year-old actress had made her big Bollywood debut with the 2007 film Om Shanti Om opposite Shah Rukh Khan. But do you know our very own Shanti Priya was about to debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial Saawariya as she was the first choice for the film. 

If things would have gone right, Deepika would be part of Saawariya opposite Ranbir Kapoor. But, later Bhansali decided to sign Sonam Kapoor Ahuja in the movie opposite Ranbir. However, Deepika’s original debut Om Shanti Om and Saawariya got released on the same day in the same year, which was November 09, 2007. Later, Deepika and Bhansali collaborated for back to back three movies and created the history with the appreciation they received. The movies were Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. They both are still considered as one of the best actor-director duos.

On the work front, Deepika Padukone will be next seen in the film Gehraiyaan, which is Shakun Batra’s directorial. The movie also stars Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Dhairya Karwa in pivotal roles. The movie will release on February 11, this year on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Videos.

Kajol tests positive for Covid, hints at flu-like symptoms

Bollywood actress Kajol Devgn revealed on Sunday that she had tested positive for the coronavirus.

The actress shared a picture of her daughter Nysa to confirm the news. She hinted at flu-like symptoms and cold which had turned her nose red, like the fictional character - Rudolph the reindeer.

The 47-year-old said she was too embarrassed to show anyone her red nose, due to the Covid symptoms.

"I really don't want anyone to see my Rudolph nose so let's just stick to the sweetest smile in the world," she wrote.

The 'Dilwale' star, who turned to her 18-year-old daughter's smile for comfort, also said she was missing her. "I can see the eye roll," she added.

Besides Kajol, many other celebrities contracted the deadly virus and recovered from it after spending time in quarantine.

Kajol was last seen on the 2021 Netflix family drama feature 'Tribhanga' in the leading role, which also featured Tanvi Azmi and Mithila Palkar. The movie marks her digital debut.

On the work front, the actress collaborated with veteran star Revathi for a feature film, 'The Last Hurrah'. The movie is inspired by a true story, which chronicles the story of "an exemplary mother, Sujata (played by Kajol), who battled the most challenging situations one can ever face with a smile".

The project is backed by Suuraj Sinngh and Shraddha Agrawal under the banner Blive Productions and Take 23 Studios Production.

'The Last Hurrah' is currently in pre-production and will go on floors soon. The film is written by Sammeer Arora, and Revathi will be directing it.
